Liverpool fans love the performance of Roberto Firmino in Latin America

Liverpool’s striker Roberto Firmino  have done something entertaining in his play in the tournament, Copa America. He has delighted fans with the goal he scored for Brazil against Peru. Firmino kept the kick coming from the goalkeeper and then rolled the ball into the net with a fine finish. The goal is now a trademark for Firmino and he has performed some wonderful finishes in the last 2 seasons. He displayed his skill during the 2-0 win over Brazil making the national team to lead the group using their win in the last game of the group.

 

This made fans at Liverpool to get delighted over his performance. Fans called it the best goal of Firmino. Another fan of Liverpool even referred to him as the best while another called him ‘the king of no-look goals’. This goal opens a trademark of no-look goals for Firmino. Firmino remembers his first goal for the team and he said he used a goal idea to score when he can.

 

Liverpool competes to sign in Nicolas Pepe

Liverpool is competing to sign in Nicolas Pepe to play for the team and this was after Inter Milan increased the offer on Lille. Atletico Madrid is among the team going for Pepe and this means competition for the player. Arsenal and Manchester United are interested are interested too in the player. Inter Milan have bidded €60m for the player. However reports coming from the French magazine known as France Football said they are ready to offer 90 million euros for the player. Atletico targets the Ivorian as the competition for the player hikes.

 

Pepe is an Ivorian national who is playing at the African Cup of Nations. Liverpool will have to go into a bidding tussle with Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan for the player. Many football analysts told Jurgen Klopp that Pepe will be an expensive player for Liverpool to sign in. Analysts say it is not the best decision for Liverpool to pay for €65 to €70m on a second choice player. The former player of Manchester United, Steve Nicol said Pepe is not a player for Liverpool. He says Pepe has features that will not make him a suitable player for Liverpool.

 

A French football legend says Liverpool did well not to sign in Nabil Fekir

Willy Sagnol who is a French football legend says Liverpool avoided wrong moves when they did not sign Nabil Fekir. Liverpool was on a move to bring in the French World Cup winner to their team but did not  do that because of the player’s injury. The 25-year old player did not do well for Lyon even though he scored goals 3 times in the group stage of the Champions League. Sagnol says he will not fit into Liverpool and he says they should bench the player. The president of Lyon Jean Michel Aulas says Fekir is still interested in a move but there are no bids yet. He says his team is waiting for coming proposals. Fekir has only 12 months on Ligue 1 and his transfer budget is about £45m even though his team Aulas said they may increase this. Juventus was targeting Fekir until Liverpool came for him.

He scored up to 9 goals and had 7 assists making his team to finished third.

A warning from Jurgen Klopp to Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp have sent a warning to Liverpool after their Champions League victory. Liverpool had a 2-0 win when they played with Tottenham. Klopp said Liverpool should not gloat with their Champions League victory and should focus on winning more trophies.
