The National Under 12 and Under 15 Handball Championship is set to hold in Sokoto from August 26 to September 4.
Almo Lambu, Secretary General, Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), who made this known in a statement yesterday, stated that the championship would enable the federation to discover future handball stars .
”The Caliphate City of Sokoto will once again be the host as the championship.
”The championship is sponsored by the ever dependable and handball loving Sokoto State Government,” Lambu said.
He also urged teams to start registration early enough to prepare for the championship.
He said that the winners from the championship in the male and female categories would represent Nigeria in the under age international championships.
