2023: APGA Holds Aard Delegates’ Congresses In Ebonyi

The Ebonyi chapter of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), on Tuesday, held its delegates’ congresses across the 171 wards in the state.

APGA Chairman in the state, Mr Ricky Okorouka, told newsmen in Abakaliki that the congresses were credible.

Okorouka said that the exercise was held across all the wards in the 13 local government areas to elect delegates, ahead of the party primaries.

“The three-man delegates have elected the ad hoc delegates that will vote during the party primaries, ahead of the 2023 polls.

“I’m happy with the conduct; there was no crisis and everything went on peacefully and smoothly.

“This is to show that APGA is made up of mature men and women, and we are waxing stronger. I believe will take over all the positions in the state, come 2023, Okorouka said.

Also speaking, a House of Assembly aspirant from Ohaozara West Constituency, Mr Ogbonnaya Agwu, said that the peaceful conduct of the congress indicated that the party was united to win elections in 2023.

“I commend the officials and all members of the party. I urge our members to keep the flag flying until we get to the promised land,” Agwu added.
